Poole BID is proud to celebrate a series of outstanding wins by businesses within the Poole BID district at the recent BCP Business Awards, held at Bournemouth University. These awards highlight innovation, community impact, and entrepreneurial spirit across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole — and this year, Poole town businesses truly shone.
Among the standout winners:
- Brown Booth was awarded Best Place to Work, with Rob Brown commenting:
“We were super happy to have received the award… thanks to our staff and management who make our workplace such a vibrant and happy place to work.” - Michael Dance of FindiFox was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2025:
“While this shiny new award has my name on it, it’s really a win for the entire FindiFox family… using crazy cool tech to make the world a safer place.” - Poole Waste Not Want Not, led by Erika Sloper, picked up the Gold Eco/Green Award: “These recognitions celebrate our ongoing dedication to environmental innovation and community support.”
- Ema Amstrong from Foundry, Poole said “We’re incredibly proud to see FOUNDRY win Gold at the BCP awards in the category ‘My Favourite Business Award‘—and even more thrilled that seven of our amazing members were also recognised. It’s a true testament to the power of our community here in Poole
- And the biggest accolade of the night went to Carly Jervis-Goode, founder of La Mias’s, who was crowned overall Winner of Winners at the BCP Awards:
“We are absolutely blown away by these awards… to win is everything to us – we are delighted.”
Poole BID Communications and Operations Manager – Wendy King said:

Their achievements reflect the talent, resilience, and innovation thriving within our community. It’s an exciting time for Poole town, and we look forward to continuing our work in supporting and championing local businesses.”
Poole town’s remarkable representation at the BCP Business Awards demonstrates not only individual excellence but the strength of a business community that supports one another and strives for collective success.
