Following the success of last year’s event, we have started the planning for 2024. We had over 8,000 visitors to the Quay over the 2 days.

We hope to offer a very similar event to last year with some more exciting enhancements.

The proposed outline of the event :-

  • Seafood Sounds A4 Poster Free to attend event in Poole Old Town & The Quay celebrating Poole’s heritage of seafood and music
  • Over 24 Musical Acts will be positioned in five locations from 11am – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Locations for the music will be Customs House; Sea Sculpture; Poole Museum; The Poole Arms; and Fish Shambles
  • Seafood dishes being provided by participating hospitality businesses.

(Please advise if your business will be offering this by 6th July so we can include you in our programme)

  • Is your Pub/restaurant providing your own music after our music finishes. (Please let us know by 6th July so we can advertise this FREE in our programme)
  • Are you interested in doing any Food Demonstration’s within your business premises. (Please let us know by 6th July so we can advertise this FREE in our programme)
  • Fish Market, Local Produce and Gift Market at Henning’s Quay
  • An Oyster Trail. Would you like to offer a prize for this – please let us know.
  • We do have sponsorship and advertising opportunities from £50 – please let me know if you would like further information.
  • Do you know of any local producers who may be interested in having a stall at this event.

If you are interested in sectioning off some of your seating area to be used as a takeaway during this event please contact;  it will be your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary approvals in place.

We look forward to showcasing what Poole Old Town & The Quay businesses offer, we hope this attracts more visitors and hope your business gets behind this idea and helps to make it a success.

If you have any questions, ideas or want to get involved please email;

Kind Regards
