Terms and Conditions: Discover Love in Poole: Win a Romantic VIP Weekend

    1. Eligibility:
      • The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over. Employees of the competition organisers, their families, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.
    2. Entry Requirements:
      • Participants must submit a nomination of their partner and a story (maximum 250 words) detailing how they met.
      • Entries must be submitted via the official competition entry form by 5pm on Thursday 13th February 2025.
      • Participants must include their full name; occupation; date of birth; address and telephone number as part of the entry requirements.
    3. Prize Details:
      • The total prize value is approximately £1,000.  No cash value alternatives.
      • Hotel du Vin – Prize includes 2-nights accommodation and breakfast for 2 on Saturday 29th March 2025.
      • Truly Scrumptious – In room chocolate welcome gift.
      • Confused Fox Gallery – Jewellery gift up to the value of £70.
      • Brakeburn – A £100 gift voucher.
      • Lavender Moon – Item(s) of clothing up to the value of £70.
      • Zeen Cuisine – Lunch for 2.
      • Great Reads – Book(s) of choice up to the value of £30.
      • Charlotte Miller Ceramics – 2 hour pottery workshop for 2 people.   Glazing included.
      • The Pickled Berry – Meal for 2 up to the value of £100.
      • St Tropez Club – 1 cocktail each.
      • Custom House Poole, Bistro & Bar – Breakfast for 2 on Sunday 30th March 2025.
      • Coastal Cruises – Poole Harbour Coastal Tour for 2.
    4. Conditions of Prize:
      • The prize is valid only for the dates specified (Friday 28th March to Sunday 30th March 2025). No changes, substitutions, or rescheduling will be permitted.
      • Travel expenses to and from Poole town are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
    5. Winner Selection:
      • The winner will be selected based on the quality and originality of their story as judged by the competition organisers. The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    6. Notification:
      • The winner will be notified via telephone by Friday 14th February 2025. If the winner does not respond within 5 working days, the prize may be forfeited, and another winner may be selected.
    7. Publicity:
      • By entering, participants agree to the use of their name, story and photographs for promotional purposes related to this competition.
    8. Liability:
      • The organisers are not responsible for any additional costs, damages, or incidents arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize.
    9. Data Protection:
      • Personal data provided during entry will be processed in accordance with Poole Business Improvement District Limited privacy policy and will only be used for the purposes of administering this competition.
    10. General:
    • The organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
    • Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
