Lobbying and campaigning is a key part of Poole BID’s role, aswell as working in partnership withorganisations such as BCP Council, Dorset Police and local community organisations and other key stakeholders.
Poole BID is influential in encouraging official bodies such as BCP Council, High Street Heritage Action Zone,Festival Coast Live and community groups to prioritise projects within Poole.
We also provide opportunity for businesses to reduce their costs by working collectively for more preferential rates such as energy provision.
There is no limit on what projects or services can be provided through us. The only requirement is that itshould be in addition to services provided by BCP Council.

Santa has taken a break from all of his hard work in the North Pole this winter to join @citycruises on their Sail with Santa cruise around Poole Harbour, starting from 2nd December 2023.
Santa will be walking around the boat, meeting all the children, the small ones and those ‘just a little bit older’ too. Santa will be handing out special presents directly to each child 🎁

The Poole Christmas Maritime Light Trail celebrates Poole’s rich nautical heritage and features a spectacular trail of maritime-themed lights 🎄
The nautical journey starts at the gateways to Poole.
Once you`ve travelled through these iconic structures, immerse yourself in a magical maritime Christmas as you follow the light trail from Falkland Square, through the High Street and onto Poole Quay, culminating in the glistening lit-up harbour.
⭐️ 6 weeks of light and laughter ⭐️
Every evening starting 25th November - 2nd January
The lights will be switched on as soon as it gets dark, get ready and wrapped up or even better grab a hot chocolate from one of the establishments open late☕️
